This product has a mouthful of a name! It’s my favourite “indulgence” beauty product. And yes, it does great things for your cuticles too!
I received this for my birthday as part of a “care package” from my friends, one of whom worked at C&E at the time and had a staff discount 🙂 Friends with benefits!
The cream is beautifully packaged in a thick-walled glass jar with a C&E embossed lid. The label is non-laminated paper, which is a subtle luxe touch.
The texture is rich and heavy – a little really does go a long way! It could definitely be sold as a “body butter”. It’s far too moisturising to be used on the face, and my skin doesn’t need that much moisturising in summer, but in winter this does wonders for my scaly (ewww) legs.
According to the label the moisturising components are shea butter, avocado butter, mango seed oil, olive oil, grapeseed oil.
It smells heavenly! Very rich creamy vanilla/fresh flowery, jasmine and lily kind of smell, with some fresh lemon scent – the C&E website describes it as “tropical green citrus”. In one word, I would describe it as delicious! However, I’ve heard that some people’s body chemistry doesn’t work with it.
It’s pretty pricey though, at $46.95/200 g on the C&E website. But it’s lasted me so long (4 years later and I still have 1/4 of the jar left, although I don’t use it daily). Would I buy it again! Definitely! When my seemingly bottomless jar runs out that is 😉
A mild cleansing gel which contains very gentle cleansing substances. For anyone who prefers a foaming cleanser or wants to gently remove oiliness from the skin.More various body butter. visit: http://www.vegantreeowl.com.au
