If you follow skincare YouTubers, you probably know of Liah Yoo, who does a lot of in-depth Korean skincare videos. She’s launched a line, KraveBeauty, and sent me their first two products to review! I’ve made a video for these – I haven’t done many product review videos yet, so let me know what you think and whether I should do more?
The two Krave products are Kale-lalu-yAHA and Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser.
Check out the full video here.

I’m definitely interested your review of these products! I’ll have to watch the video sometime while I’m not at work. While I’m guessing that a lot of people like video reviews, I really prefer text posts. It’s easier to skim to see if there’s something I’m interested in, and I can refer back to it more easily for future reference.
I’ve been meaning to do a more comprehensive summary of the video as well to go with the post, but time got away from me! 🙁
Awesome to see individuals coming out with skincare
Totally agree! Especially when they have lots of experience with skincare – there are way too many cosmetic chemists who don’t use products daily, so they don’t really understand what people who actually use products are looking for…
Would this replace traditional toners or follow a toner regimen. I’m confused because it says this is a hydrating solution. However, I thought that glycolic acid-based exfoliants can dry the skin?
It would replace it – glycolic usually hydrates skin, and this has other ingredients that hydrate skin as well.
Best video yet! Great review and I love that you have put in your own personality some more too. Had a real giggle at ‘wasted product hurts my soul’!
Thank you! 🙂 I’ve been trying to go off-script a lot more, but I’ve noticed that I say “so” a lot! :\
I just purchased it! Almost through my pixi glow tonic. Love the results and not the fragrance. I normally follow up with a more hydrating toner after it so this is perfect!
Whoop whoop! Let me know how it goes 🙂
Just wanted to say how much I appreciate your science based posts and respect your product reviews. So yes, would love to see more product reviews by you! I am interested in the Krave Beauty products so popped in to get your take on them.
And I have to tell you that I was laughing so hard at your description of washing over the sink because that is exactly me! I bump my head on the mirror, have towels tucked in my shirt, lining the counter plus a microfiber cloth to wipe the mirror. I’m in my late 50’s and will continue to hate the process until I get my dream bathroom with an industrial size basin…..heh.
Hahaha! The towel in the shirt idea is genius.
